Clinical Imaging Platform
Interface redesign for a clinical CT scan analysis platform used in daily diagnostic workflows.
The Challenge
In a high-repetition, high-focus clinical environment, frequently used tools required multiple navigation steps to access. Accumulated interface friction across long sessions directly affected technician accuracy and fatigue.
The Solution
Restructured the interface around task frequency rather than feature organisation. Critical tools made persistently accessible, scan navigation reduced to minimal steps, and visual hierarchy tuned for endurance — without altering any existing workflows or compliance requirements.

Designing for Repetition
Technicians performed the same set of actions across every session — opening scans, applying measurements, annotating findings, comparing timepoints. The interface was evaluated and restructured around that specific loop, not general usability principles.
Frequency-Led Layout
Interface zones were defined by how often each element was needed during a session. Elements required on every scan were made persistently visible. Elements needed less frequently were repositioned accordingly.
